The FBI's Missing Nazi Files

Like many federal agencies, the FBI has a section of its Website containing documents frequently requested under the Freedom of Information Act. But some of those files have disappeared. At one point, you could download declassified documents on Adolph Hitler, Klaus Barbie, and members of the Basque government who reported on political conditions in South America during and after WWII. Those files are now gone.

It seems likely that this disappearance has to do with the fact that the FBI has recently turned over all its files relating to Nazi war crimes to the National Archives, which will review them for possible release. But as pointed out, some of these files have already been released. Since we find it hard to imagine how national security could be jeopardized by WWII-era information about Hitler and the Nazis, we're reposting the files the FBI withdrew from public circulation. Stop annoying telephone calls
[The following came from a friend. Maybe it can help some of you get a little more sleep.]

I don't know about you but we have been getting calls off of our home phone at 4:30 AM and later and when you answer the phone there is just a beep sound. So I called our phone company and they said they have been getting a lot of complaints lately and gave me a number that I could call and get my fax number and home number taken off. I just did it a few days ago and I think it has worked, no calls so far.
