More Signs of Fascism on the Move
There were two stories in this morning's news that made for interesting juxtaposition. One dealt with an apparent struggle going on inside the Republican Party right now. Apparently the Fascist Christian branch is planning to purge all moderate Republicans from the party. Some of the invective they are using on one another reminds me of the recent campaign, but this time it's all inside the same party.
The other news item was even more ominous. The new CIA director has announced that from now on the CIA is to serve the needs of "the administration" and not the country as a whole. Did I hear that right? Is the CIA now beholding primarily to the Fascist Wing of the Republican Party? What Orwellian nightmare have we unleashed?

Can the Military Restore Democracy to the US?
In case you haven't noticed, the democratic republic of the USA is no more. Now that the ultra-conservative Fascist Christian Party (FCP) has firmly taken control of all three branches of government, free and fair elections are a thing of the past. The sooner you realize that your vote will no longer be counted the better off you will be. Face it, now that the FCP controls all of the electronic voting machines, fair elections are over and done with in the formerly united states of Amerika.
Already we are seeing FCP tanks disrupting peaceful demonstrations in Los Angeles. And there are reports that over 4,000 combat ready troops are going to be on hand in Washington, D.C. during Bush's coronation ceremony in January. Soldiers armed with automatic weapons are now permanent fixtures at our airports and government buildings. So what's next?
The only hopeful thing I've heard lately is that there are some generals at the Pentagon who are thinking about staging a coup d'etat. Since there aren't any white knights who are about to appear to lead the Republicrats back to power, perhaps a military coup wouldn't be such a bad thing. After all, we're already living in a country that is occupied by armed soldiers in most of our public places. So why not make an honest country of us and let the military just take over. They certainly could do a better job ruling this country than the draft dodger and deserter who are now in charge.

Amerika has chosen a representative leader
As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Sad but true
This nation is so deeply divided that the words "civil war" stand for a possibility that is no longer remote.
